When I started thinking carefully about how to move forward with different ideas about how to protect the environment, it was really clear to me that I had a long way to go. I wanted to make a difference at home, but it was difficult to pinpoint the cause of our energy concerns. I started turning the lights on less frequently, opening up the windows, and cutting down my use of gas and electrical power.
